The recently reorganized Pearson Television has given the go-ahead to three syndicated game shows for production for the fall, according to Variety. The shows are: the sophomore "Family Feud," the freshman "To Tell the Truth" and the upcoming "Card Sharks."

Production on "Sharks" will begin this spring at Tribune's new digital studio in Los Angeles, while "Feud" and "Truth" will continue to shoot at NBC Studios in Burbank. Jim Croane ("America's Most Wanted") will executive produce "Sharks," which will be hosted by Pat Bullard ("Love Connection" ).

Pearson also plans to follow the trend of big cash prizes, made popular by the game shows "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" and "Weakest Link," by upping the jackpot. "Sharks" will have a $50,000 grand prize per episode while the prize on "Feud" is being doubled to $20,000.

All three game shows have been cleared for fall on stations representing coverage of more than 80 percent of the country.
